Flexible Working is now the norm according to an ILM research paper that shows 94% of employers offer it in some form.
Interesting to note the gender balance, in that men are as likely nowadays to take advantage of flexible working options; once thought of as a requirement for “working mums”.
This is a balanced report showing the advantages as well as some of the fears employers have around the impact of flexible working on the business.
It makes for interesting reading in light of the recent move at Yahoo to bring all employees back in to the workplace & stop home working.
