2. Statutory Maternity Pay (SMP), Statutory Paternity Pay (SPP), and Statutory Adoption Pay (SAP) rises from £135.45 to £136.78

3. The weekly earnings threshold to be eligible for SM, SPP or SAP rises from £107 to £109This year also sees additional changes come into effect on the 6 April:

Firstly all employers are obligated to begin reporting PAYE information in real time – hopefully you are all ready for his as your book keeper or accountant will have told you exactly what needs to happen.

And finally the 90-day collective redundancy consultation period for large-scale redundancies was reduced from 90 days to 45 days.  We know this won’t effect may of our clients but it is useful to be aware of none the less.
