Don’t forget that from April onwards if you pay staff through PAYE you need to report payments and deductions to the HMRC in Real Time.

Real Time Information (RTI) requires you to make an electronic report to the HMRC on or before the date of every payment you make whether that is weekly or monthly, and also requires you to report commission or bonus payments if these are made on dates other than the usual payroll run.
