We encourage you to share your thoughts and ideas with your staff. The Gallup Q12 identifies the elements of worker engagement that predict employee motivation and performance and these include staff knowing that “The mission or purpose of my company makes me feel my job is important” and that “I know what is expected of me at work”.
So make sure your staff know how the business new year resolutions impact on them – and it is even better if you ask them to help shape what those resolution are in the first place.
