I applaud Cisco for their approach to enabling employees to enjoy the Olympic Games. They have set up places at each of their sites where staff can get together with work collaegues to watch an event on TV. Or staff can choose to watch on their own laptops with live streaming of BBC coverage enabled. It would seem that Cisco are trusting their employees to behave like grown ups, manage their workload and take time out when they want to. Long may it last beyond the Olympics & may other employers take a leaf out of their book. 🙂
