Today may be International Women’s Day but we will have to wait for another couple of years to see the results of the Gender Pay Gap Report.

It is expected the Equality Act 2010 (Gender Pay Gap Information) Regulations 2016 will come into force on 1 October 2016 giving companies 6 months until those with over 250 employees have to take their first snapshot of gender pay figures in April 2017. In April 2018 the figures will have to be published.

The full article about the gender pay gap legislation, link to the draft document and the public consultation information can be found on Personnel Today.
